Baby Konjac Sponge

$15.00

Our all-natural, ultra-soft bath sponge can be used to cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin of your little one daily.

It is the perfect bath-time accessory for babies, including newborns, as it is gentle enough for use on sensitive skin types and can be used without soap, as the plant-derived sponge naturally possesses antibacterial properties!

We also recommend our sponge for babies suffering from skin issues like eczema, who may be sensitive to a variety of soaps. Given that the sponge cleanses the skin without the need for a cleanser/soap, our sponge is ideal for little ones!

What's more... the sponges are 100% biodegradable. Use, reuse, then toss in your compost!

AMORPHOPHALLUS KONJAC

The amorphophallus konjac plant grows on slopes 2000 to 4000 feet above sea level where it enjoys clean air and water. The plant has multiple uses and benefits. The dietary fibre that is produced from the starchy corm of this porous root vegetable is used to help improve digestion, boost metabolism, reduce inflammation, and more. The root is also used to improve skin.

Sponges made from konjac can help cleanse the face with or without adding a cleanser. Their naturally antibacterial properties make them the perfect resource for a hygiene product and studies show they can help reduce acne. They gently exfoliate the skin to remove dirt and dead skin cells and stimulate circulation for regrowth. In fact, they are so gentle, they are often used to wash the skin of babies. Our Konjac Sponges are natural, biodegradable, and are made from a sustainable resource!

  • Soften sponge by running under warm water (for first use, you can soak in warm water for 10-15 minutes until fully expanded).
  • Gently exfoliate face with or without cleanser, using circular motions. Rinse and moisturize.
  • Can be used daily.

Caring for your sponge:

  • Rinse thoroughly and press sponge to extract water (squeezing may cause damage to sponge). Hang to dry between uses.
  • For a deeper clean, drop the sponge in a bowl of boiling water for a few minutes to sanitize it. Remove carefully and let cool before handling to avoid burns.
  • Replace sponge every four to six weeks depending on use.
